Horacio Maduro Series

The Horacio Maduro Cigars immediately stand out visually with their particularly dark, oily-shimmering wrapper from Ecuador. Beneath it lies a Nicaraguan binder, combined with a filler from Nicaragua and Costa Rica. The result is an intense, complex blend that instantly appeals to connoisseurs. On the palate, powerful roasted notes dominate, accompanied by dark chocolate and espresso. As the smoke develops, earthy tones emerge, complemented by a subtle sweetness and a hint of pepper spice that add extra depth to the experience. The Maduro line is therefore full-bodied, creamy, and at the same time balanced—ideal for lovers of strong cigars.

Horacio Cigars: From Swiss Origins to a Stronghold in Nicaragua

Since 2008, the brand Horacio has stood for top-class handmade cigars. It was founded by three Swiss entrepreneurs, Christophe Leroy, Fabien Gil, and Sylvain Toaldo. Initially produced in Costa Rica, production has since been firmly established in Nicaragua. While Christophe and Fabien oversee the manufacturing, Sylvain is responsible for global distribution. The close connection between origin, craftsmanship, and quality is especially evident in the Maduro line.
